“Overall, a long, tough day for us here at Martinsville. For whatever reason we didn’t fire off in qualifying or the beginning of the race. I don’t know if I just abused those tires, or if the truck just didn’t like that set of tires, or what - we just didn’t have speed at that point. Finally, when we were able to get that set of tires off, business picked up, but we lost all our track position by then. Ultimately, we were able to salvage a bad day here, and bring home an ok finish. Just disappointed with our performance today. I really felt like we had something to run up front with, and we really didn’t. Overall proud of the guys. Proud of the calls that Jeff Hensley made in the pits in order to salvage what we could out of the day.”
