Superior Essex Partners With Grant Enfinger For The Gander Trucks Race At Canadian Tire Motorsports

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Aug. 22, 2019) – Superior Essex, the leading manufacturer and supplier of communications cable in North America, announced they will partner with Grant Enfinger, driver of the No. 98 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150 for Sunday’s NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Playoff race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ont. Canada. Superior Essex, based in Atlanta, Georgia, will adorn the hood of Enfinger’s Ford F-150 as he competes in the second race of the Gander Trucks Playoffs, north of the boarder.

“It’s great to have Superior Essex on board our F-150 for the road course race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park,” said Grant Enfinger, driver of the No. 98 Superior Essex/Curb Records/ThorSport Racing Ford F-150. “This is the second race of the playoffs, and a track that is always exciting for both the drivers and fans. I know Superior Essex will have a big crowd there for the race, so this should be the perfect place to kick off a new partnership for both ThorSport Racing and Superior Essex.”

Superior Essex is on the forefront of innovation through Power over Ethernet, Intelligent Buildings and Cities, 5G Fiber infrastructure including Hybrid and Composite solutions, as well as technological advancements being made at its Product Development Center. "We are honored to partner with Grant Enfinger and ThorSport Racing at the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park,” said Brian Ensign, Vice President of Marketing for Superior Essex. “This partnership has been a long time coming. I’ve gotten to know Grant over the past two years, and have a great deal of respect for his racing ability, and his impact on the sport. I can draw that same parallel to the Superior Essex brand in our industry, so this is a great partnership for many reasons. As a company who is already working with NASCAR, teams, and other industry partners to generate business-to-business relationships, we thought this would be a great way to support Grant and the team, as they compete in the Playoffs, and to give our guests an experience of a lifetime."

The No. 98 Superior Essex/Curb Records/ThorSport Racing Ford F-150 will take the green flag for the Gander Trucks race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park Sunday, Aug. 25, at 2:30 p.m. ET. All the action from the 2.459-mile, 10-turn road course, broadcast live starting at 2 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) and the Motor Racing Network (MRN).
