The NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Is Back!

NASCAR announced today it's return to racing on Sunday, May 17 at Darlington Raceway for the NASCAR Cup Series. The NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series will resume at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Tuesday, May 26. The full opening slate of races is as follows: Date Series Venue Sun, May 17 Cup Series Darlington Raceway Tues, May 19 Xfinity Series Darlington Raceway Weds, May 20 Cup Series Darlington Raceway Sun, May 24 Cup Series Charlotte Motor Speedway Mon, May 25 Xfinity Series Charlotte Motor Speedway Tues, May 26 Gander Trucks Charlotte Motor Speedway Weds, May 27 Cup Series Charlotte Motor Speedway All races are one-day shows, with no fans and all races, except for the 600 at Charlotte, will be just the race - no practice or qualifying. NASCAR has not announced how the line-ups will be set. The NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series event on Tuesday, May 26 at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be aired at 8pm ET on FS1. NASCAR's intention remains to reschedule all points races for all national series events, that means 21 more events for the Truck Series, with an announcement on an adjusted schedule to come in the near future.
